Skills Required
QA process leadership, including strategy, project scoping, management, and standards/metrics are skills required for a Vice President in this role.
The ideal candidate will be required to create automation frameworks for Quick Test Pro projects exercising web and other GUI types.
The candidate will define strategies and test cases covering all aspect of functional/regression/performance/capacity testing, execute test cases independently or collaborate with other QA members in test execution.
The candidate should be experienced with standard test methodologies, able to quickly acquire business an technical knowledge to come up with robust test cases, and working against aggressive timelines.
The successful candidate will recommend and influence changes to developers to further improve software quality.
Skills Required
QA Technical Skills
The candidate may have 5+ years of testing applications and managing testing and 2+ years of testing financial applications.
They may have 3+ years experience using Quick Test Pro, Quality Center
•Front-end functional testing in a distributed environment
•Experience testing Java, C#, .NET, Web products Technical Skills:
•Unix Command Line •DB Skills - should be able to write complex SQL statements
• Technical proficiency in Quick Test Pro
• Technical proficiency in message-based testing of XML, SOAP and other protocols
•Experience operating in Sybase
