We are looking for a Senior Netcool Specialist with knowledge of shell scripting and strong Linux experience.
Skills Required
• Experience with the Netcool suite of products or similar enterprise/network management software
• Strong Perl and Shell Programming / API Development
• Sybase or Transactional SQL / Stored Procedures & Triggers
• Strong Unix experience
• Strong communication skills and quick decision making
• Understanding of the TCP and UDP Protocols, including SNMP (MIBs and traps)
• Experience implementing and testing distributed applications
• Ability to write detailed engineering and operations (design, runbook and procedural) documentation; and ability to create diagrams on Microsoft Visio/PowerPoint
• Execution and deliverable focused
• Experience with large scale distributed systems
• Project management experience
• Experience with functional testing of all tiers of a multi-tier distributed application, including UI, vendor software, custom integrations and database layers
• Experience of performance testing multi-tier applications in an enterprise environment
Skills Desired
• Experience testing vendor GUI in secure build environment
• Understanding of networking protocols
• Experience in troubleshooting vendor software (gdb, strace, tcpdump, etc)
• Experience with integrating vendor solutions with other vendors or in-house systems
• Experience in working geographically dispersed teams
• Experience with working with Off-Shore teams
• Experience with Morgan Stanley infrastructure including Aurora, Aegis, WinAurora, AFS.
• Experience with Windows environment (software installation and management, networking & network drives)
• Experience in financial industry
