Wea are looking for a strong ETL (Informatica) developer with DB design and development experience to join the Phoenix Funding team. The phoenix funding batch streams sources its data from various firm systems producing a new view if balance sheet information for the Firm. The support analyst is required to interact with business users and other systems technologists, detailing analysis of new issues and documenting associated fixes along with training to colleagues in frontline teams. This is a client-facing role with significant scope for developing new tools and scripts to assist the whole team. The support analyst must be a tenacious problem-solver, ready to balance the technical challenges of each unique task.
Skills Required
• Strong ETL (Informatica) programming background
• Solid relational Data Base background preferably DB2
• Basic UNIX skills. Familiar with usage of vi/less/ grep/ find/ du/ df/ ps/ cat
• Familiarity with any UNIX file system and Linux Server Technologies
• Ability to write basic shell / Perl scripts
• Good Analytical and Design skills
Skills Desired
• Database Design Case tools like Erwin / Database and Query performance tuning experience
• An understanding of job scheduling tools for example Autosys / Cron.
• Experience in distributed computing environment, Database design / development and support experience
• Any experience with Java / MQ technology
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle
• Strong problem solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data
• Self motivated with strong oral and written communication skills
• Detail oriented and organized with Strong analytical skills
• Experience working in a "virtual" or Global team
