We are currently seeking a Senior Software QA Analyst for our client, a leading provider of print management and assessment software solutions. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Software Quality Assurance Analyst will play a key role in assuring the quality of companies software products by performing tests during the product release cycle. By working closely with Development, Product Management and Technical Support, you will ensure the product quality is constantly improving.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- QA testing on software products, including, but not limited to: regression, localization, functionality, performance testing
- Configure and maintain test environments on Windows platform
- Test Case creation and evaluation
- Troubleshoot and investigation of defects
- Defect tracking
- Participation in requirements and design reviews
- Verification of product documentation
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a computer or engineering related discipline
- 5+ years of proven experience in the software industry as a tester in various Windows environments
- Solid understanding and experience of RDBMS (SQL) and SDLC
- Solid bug tracking skills
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, trouble shooting and technical problem solving skills
- Interest in working in a team is essential
- Self-motivated, good initiative and able to work independently as well as within a team to deliver a quality product on time
