Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect to deployment and support of their telecommunication solutions worldwide. You will use your in-depth architectural, networking and deployment skills to design and dimension sophisticated solutions. This role is intended to bridge the products and technologies introduced by the development team and the operator’s network environment and integration points.
Essential Job Functions and Tasks
· Architect customer solutions
· Document integration requirements and messaging flows for customer implementation
· Review current product line
· Dimension solutions for implementation on a variety of hardware (IBM, HP,… etc)
· Documentation of implementation requirements and steps
· Install and support LINUX-based solution
· Support the Deployment and Customer Care team for third line support
· Document and validate implementation steps for new product deployment
· Trouble shoot deployment and product issues
Required Skills and Competencies:
· A minimum of 10 years of architectural experience designing complex networking solutions in a telecoms environment
· Significant experience with IP networking, firewalls, Linux, Unix and general system administration skills (MySql, Apache, Tomcat, threads, virtualization, RAID, Memory allocation)
· Extensive hands-on experience dimensioning, installing and configuring hardware including HP and Cisco switches, routers and load balancers.
· Extensive experience of networking technologies including firewalls, TCP/IP, routers, switches, DHCP, DNS, STP, VLAN, VPN and LAN Security requirements as well.
· Good troubleshooting, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
· Significant experience in messaging products and networking and video streaming protocols is an asset.

Compétences et habiletés essentielles
· Au moins dix ans d’expérience en architecture et en conception de solutions de réseautage complexes dans un environnement de télécommunications.
· Expérience notable en matière de réseaux IP, de pare-feu et de systèmes Linux et Unix, et compétences générales dans l’administration de systèmes (MySql, Apache, Tomcat, fils, virtualisation, RAID, attribution de mémoire).
· Vaste expérience pratique en dimensionnement, en installation et en configuration de matériel, y compris les routeurs, les équilibreurs de charge et les commutateurs HP et Cisco.
· Vaste expérience en technologies de réseautage, y compris les pare-feu, le protocole TCP/IP, les routeurs, les commutateurs, le matériel DHCP, les DNS, les PTS, les RLV, les RPV ainsi que les exigences de sécurité touchant les RL.
· Excellentes compétences en dépannage et aptitudes à la communication (écrite et orale) et aux relations interpersonnelles.
· Expérience notable dans les produits de messagerie et les protocoles de réseau et de transmission vidéo en continu, un atout.
