Job description:
-Create network maps and other documentation for visual representation of current network and systems topology.
-Manage all aspects of Internet Firewall and Intrusion Detection systems and review logs to determine patterns of abuse or breaches in security.
-Install and test software upgrades to all network and server hardware platforms.
-Manage and resolve all in-house users and application developers support requests, as well as all outside client support requests.
-Maintain network electronic equipment including switches, hubs routers and all relevant cabling.
-Maintain all server platforms including domain controllers, files servers, database servers, mail servers application servers, monitor servers and print servers.
-Maintain personal computer infrastructure including operating system and all user and application development software tools.
-Diagnose and resolve all network and system related failures
-Develop operational procedures as well as procedures relating to disaster recovery.
Qualifications
-DEC in Comp Sci. or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technologies or 3 to 5 years' related experience
-3 to 4 years' systems and network administration, with experience in the following areas:
-LAN/WAN networking environments working inTCP/IP
-Thorough knowledge in all Microsoft Windows Server platforms including NT, 2000 and 2003.
-Server side applications: (DHCP ADS MySql/MsSql, Exchange)
-Linux operating environment.
-Sun Solaris operating environment
-The Citrix operating environment including Metaframe, Secure Gateway and Web Interface.
-Windows Active Directory.
-Firewall solutions including IPtables and IPchains.
-Security solutions including VPN, SSL, PPTP/IPSEC, PGP and SSH.
-Knowledge of network routing and switching protocols.
-SQL Server Administration and Backups
-VMWare or any virtualization technology
