We are looking for an experienced Asterisk Developer. The candidate will participate in the design, development and deployment of new and existing applications.
Tasks:
• Develop IP Telephony Applications on the Asterisk code base
• Research and prepare design proposals
• Code and unit test software programs and applications according to specifications
• Bug fixing and troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities for system improvement in areas of usability, security, and performance
• Research emerging web development practices/technology and participate in long-range planning, evaluating new systems and methodologies.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Five (5) plus years experience in software development
• Development experience on Asterisk code base is highly desirable
• Experience with Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) is highly desirable
• Familiar with application-to-application communication interfaces utilizing web services architecture using XML, SOAP, and WSDL
• Knowledge of C, PHP, and AGI scripts.
• MySQL and/or MS SQL Server 2000, 2005
• Demonstrated project implementations using major effective design patterns, experience designing with UML
• Familiar with Software Configuration Management (Subversion), build processes, and releases
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
