The Content Management team is seeking an enthusiastic and higly motivated developer to help lead the development of our new generation Publishing platform based on Alfresco 3. Alfresco offers true Open Source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) functionalities and uses best-of-breed Open Source technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Lucene, modern standards such as JSR-168, JSR-170 and Web Services. The developer will be involved in the complete lifecycle of the project, and will help make Alfresco our strategic Content Management store; this includes integration with search/archival platforms, helping to build economies of scale and ease of management by creating management & SDLC tools, APIs and other services for easy deployment of critical applications, and enhancing the vendor offering by filling gaps and influencing the roadmap of the product with Alfresco.    

Strong knowledge of core Java (J2SE) concepts; Experience of Spring framework, Freemarker; Strong knowledge of object-oriented (OO) programming and web development; Working experience with databases. 

The individual must be dedicated, hardworking, and have a genuine interest in technology. 

Ability to lead a project, from the design, architecture and implementation perspective.
