Candidate’s primary responsibility includes data architecture/modeling, stored procedure design/development, execute on client and database infrastructure initiatives and adopting database related best practices and standards. The role also have opportunity to application development in addition to database development, and expected to participate in support rotations with current team members
Skills Required
- Relational database design and development experience on Sybase and DB2
- Unix/Linux, shell scripting, PERL, Perforce, Autosys
- Experience in database infrastructure management, tuning and optimization
- Experience with Java client-server application development, JDBC
- Strong analysis and problem solving skills
- Excellent organization, documentation, communication skills
- Ability to balance competing priorities between project and non-project work
