Activities the candidate will be responsible for:
• Accountable for the delivery of testing services to all components of project
• Prioritize and oversee the delivery and execution of comprehensive testing suites for all components of project, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Work closely with the project team to fully understand the requirements of the application
• Compile, analyze, and report test metrics to the project team and EDG Test Services management.
• Communicate effectively and proactively with the business team, developers and EDG Test Services management to resolve issues and follow-up on progress
• Serve as the quality gatekeeper for the product teams highlighting any testing-related risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
• Automate GUI test cases using Quick Test Pro
• Automate back end tests cases using Perl, Shell
• Automate manual SOAP test cases using internal tool

• Solid understanding of SDLC
• Solid understanding of STLC
• Experience in Front end automation tool: Quick Test Professional
• Experience in Perl, Shell scripting
• Experience in SQL

• At least 3 years of professional work experience
