We are looking for a senior .NET developer position
Activities include:
• Hands on design and development of components of the platform
• Provide technical leadership in the complete software product life cycle (SDLC) process.
• Working in a team setting with business analysts, project managers, developers, testers and production support
• Communication with 24 x7 2nd level service groups on support of the product
• Provide 3rd level production support and enhancement of the product
• Product documentation
Skills Required
• Strong systems design skills.
• Fluent in ASP.NET/C#, Java
• Fluent in Database design, ETL technologies (e.g. Sybase, Informatica)
• Fluent with Data Access technologies, Real-time messages, Notification services
• Fluent with Web services development (SOAP, HTTP, cxf)
• Fluent with scripting languages (e.g. PERL) and/or experience with rapid prototyping
• Understanding of TCP/IP and client/server architecture
• Solid background in UNIX fundamentals
• 8-10 years of professional work experience
• Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
• Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Structured, organized approach to product development and ability to deliver projects on time
• Understanding and execution of standard product lifecycle (including requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support)
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing business environment
