Intermediate Java Web UI Developer

Responsibilities;

As part of the development team, you will have the opportunity to work in a very dynamic and challenging 

environment on cutting edge products in the multimedia 

content adaptation field. ents.

-Design and implementation of new java components or features as part of the MediaAdvance Platform

-Improve and maintain existing java components.

-Propose and document solutions.

-Perform unit testing.

-Support the QA and deployment teams in their efforts.

Technical Requirements;

-Experience in Java Web UI development (5+ years)

-Excellent knowledge of the Java SDK 1.5+ and J2EE components (5+ years):

-Servlets,

-Apache Wicket

-JavaScripts / JQuery

-HTML

-Spring Framework / Spring MVC

-JSP

-Experience with SSO technologies and solutions

-Solid experience in multithreaded programming

-Good Knowledge of UML

Assets;

-Advanced knowledge of the Linux OS environment 

-Strong background in information security; experience of software development using key Java security concepts (JCA, JAAS, etc.)

-Strong background in RDBMS design

-Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Perl, shell scripting, etc.

-Good knowledge in software management and monitoring with JMX and SNMP.

-Experience in distributed environment and programming

-Experience with multimedia products and/or mobile phone related technology/protocol

Education

-Computer Engineering or Computer Science bachelor’s degree
