Job Description;
- Plan, design, configure and maintain test environment
- Write and execute system performance test cases, analyze and validate test results
- Design and automate performance test cases. Execute automated test cases; monitor, analyze and validate test results
- Plan, design, configure and maintain test harness for system regression tests
- Write and execute system regression test cases, analyze and validate the results
- Design and automate regression test cases. Execute automated test cases; monitor, analyze and validate test results
- Report and track bugs using the Jira issue tracking system.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years in the following; integration testing, performance/benchmark testing, soak/load testing
- Strong software/system troubleshooting skills.
- Multimedia, streaming knowledge is an asset
- Client-server application
- Excellent knowledge of the Linux environment.
- Working experience with client-server applications
- Solid knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Perl, shell scripting, etc.
Education
- Bachelor computer science or Bachelor in Engineering
